  • Passport to Healing/Healing Through the Human Energy Field

    by Katharine Lee-Kruger

I had the privilege of interviewing Katharine Lee way back in June 2001, just after she had perfected, produced, and published Passport to Hands on Healing, now titled Healing Through the Human Energy Field.

A pioneer in the integrated, alternative and holistic health fields, Katherine confirms what we have always known: A loving touch is healing in and of itself.

Katherine guides readers step-by-step through the healing process. The journey begins by answering the question, “What is healing?” The text includes pictures of the body and its biological systems, explains how Bach Flower Remedies work, and provides a solid foundation for understanding chakras, auras, and human energy fields. Case histories range from trivial to medically diagnosed terminal illness, and the work includes experiential exercises. Most important, it addresses the health of the healer.

Katharine’s approach is pragmatic and based on the belief that a healer’s primary responsibility is to teach people to heal themselves.

Perfect for beginners, Passport to Hands on Healing/Healing Through the Human Energy Field teaches readers how to use their hands to heal themselves and their family, friends and animals. This book is also an invaluable resource for anyone wishing to qualify as a healthcare professional, and those already in a healing practice will find it helpful .

  • The Benefits of Reading

    Why Return to Reading?

Spending an entire day mindlessly scrolling through Facebook Reels, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube videos is easy.

Reading, however, allows you to put the text down, consider the implications of what has been shared, and then apply what you are learning, step by step, over whatever period suits you.

Reading (instead of scrolling) has incredible benefits. Besides strengthening your cognitive skills, including memory, concentration [1], and critical thinking [2], reading elevates your empathy and emotional intelligence [3], reduces your stress [1], improves your emotional well-being, and most important of all, opens doors to your creativity (4) and imagination [5].

In short, when you return to reading instead of mindlessly scrolling for snippets of information, you can process and apply the information you have gathered, turning knowledge into wisdom and building firm foundations for self-transformation.
