To say I love reading would be an understatement: A defining moment in my life was when my mother gave me her nonfiction cards for the “grown-ups” library.
I spent my adolescence voraciously absorbing the esoteric and humanities stacks before reading psychology and anthropology at university. After that, I engaged in research and teaching methodology and later edited the works of academics, postgraduate students, and nonfiction writers.
As I approach my “golden years,” I see how many writers self-publishing their “slivers of truth” have difficulty gathering reviews. The rule seems to be that the higher the number of reviews, the more books sell (at least according to a YouTuber), and a writer has to have hundreds of reviews to catch the algorithm’s spiral.
So, in addition to continuing to assist writers in finding and expressing their voice and sliver of truth eloquently, I am here to help writers of self-help and health texts catch the spiral of the algorithm.
